Here Comes the Summer!

Here Comes the Summer!

The Beach and the Falaise d’Amont, 1885, Claude Monet. Original from the Art Institute of Chicago
We celebrate our return to in-person singing and performance with a light-hearted programme of madrigals and popular song, perfect for the summer.

John Rutter’s masterfully infectious Birthday Madrigals are flanked by choral music from before – such as Schubert, Holst and Amy Beach – and after, such as Gershwin, The Beatles and Abba, every item imbued with the joy and hope of the season.

Join us for what will be a toe-tapping, tune-humming thrill of an evening!

There will be two performances of the concert, at 6:00pm and 8:30pm, so that we can host as many people as possible while maintaining social distancing between groups. Each performance will last approximately one hour 15 minutes without an interval.

Covid-19: It is essential that everyone attending these concerts reads this document which gives details of our Covid-19 arrangements. You can also see a copy of the seating plan, and our risk assessment for holding concerts at St Peter’s will be available to view shortly.

Tickets: £15 | £5 students/under 18s
