Having showcased music that focused specifically on Christmas Day in our 2018 concert, and eschewed all mention of Christ in our 2019 performance, this year we will shine a light on those who witnessed the birth: sages, shepherds, angels and animals. How did this extraordinary event affect those who saw it, and how has their experience inspired choral composers? Featuring music by Berlioz, Warlock, Chilcott and Betty Roe, amongst others.
There will be two performances of this evening’s concert at 6:00pm and 8:00pm so that we can host as many people as possible whilst maintaining social distancing between groups.
