’Since singing is so good a thing, I wish all men would learn to sing.’

In honour of William Byrd’s famous maxim, we present a concert extolling the virtues of singing. Featuring secular music by Thomas Weelkes and Judith Weir, alongside sacred anthems by Claudio Monteverdi and Byrd himself, the performance will also include J.S. Bach’s totemic motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues lied as well as organ solos from our new accompanist, Alex Knight.
